What an incredible weekend of community engagement! Council Member Muhammad participated in not one, but two neighborhood cleanups. On Saturday, the focus was on the Palmetto Park Neighborhood, where residents and stakeholders came together to make their community shine. ๐งน๐ณ The next day, the work continued as the City of St. Pete and Keep Pinellas Beautiful collaborated at Tangerine Plaza, tackling the block with enthusiasm.
A heartfelt thanks to Megan Jackson, Program Coordinator for Keep Pinellas Beautiful, Whitney Blair of the City Of St. Petersburg's Office of Sustainability and Resilience, Lindsay Goldberg Wulff, President of the Palmetto Park Neighborhood Association, and the amazing Volunteers who showed up to help make a difference.
Council Member Muhammad shared, "The immediate impact of neighborhood cleanups is what I love most. In 1 or 2 hours, you can take "before and after" photos and see a huge difference. That's why I show up and lend a hand whenever I can."
